Portfolio Development 2

Our Portfolio Development program is an intensive 2 week course for high school students who are serious about art, and are looking to concentrate in this field at the college and university level. This course is offered in two sections: 1 & 2. 

Portfolio Development 1 is designed with those artist just beginning to build their portfolio and with guide them through various pieces in order to establish a strong foundational base for their budding portfolio. 

Portfolio Development 2 is for the more seasoned student, one with an already established body of work. In this section, instructors work with & assist students in the formation and refinement of their emergent practice and help in defining & establishing the thread of connection evident in their work, to convey a sustained investigation.

Graduates from One River’s Portfolio Development from 2013 and 2014 have been accepted to art programs across the country including Rhode Island School of Design, School of Visual Arts, Pratt and Parsons in NYC, Washington University in St. Louis, Art Institute of Chicago, as well as many others.
